We have been given permisison from the team at University of Michigan in the US to share some work that thay have done around helping parents and families understand what happens when healthcare staff and families discuss what is best for a child. Dr Stephanie Kukora and colleagues have published a paper that describes their co-creation of a video made to help parents and families understand the process, and what is behind the sometimes difficult conversations and decisions that need to be makde about a child and a tracheostomy.
